From Project Bobcat, a grassroots citizens group for the protection of bobcats:

[mk_blockquote style=”quote-style” font_family=”none” text_size=”12″ align=”left”]Our mission is to protect and promote awareness concerning the welfare of Lynx rufus—the American bobcat. We are a grass-roots community organization of concerned local residents, property owners, business owners, and environmental activists located at the gateway to Joshua Tree National Park that seeks to revise current California Fish and Wildlife hunting and trapping regulations that currently negatively affect this significant and much loved local wildlife asset with more progressive management policies. We believe that wild, healthy bobcat populations are a vital and important part our community and we strive to defend their existence in our backyards, region, and state.[/mk_blockquote]
