Public Alert – Furbearer Hunting and Trapping Season Begins Oct 1 in Wyoming.

PUBLIC ALERT – WYOMING!

FURBEARER trapping starts today in Wyoming! Although predatory animal trapping is legal all year in Wyoming, increased traps will be on our public trails beginning today, excluding National Parks and the National Elk Refuge. Traps can be placed adjacent to all boundaries of our treasured National Parks.

HELP US to record all trapping violations or incidents. Please report to:

and to your local:
Wyoming Game and Fish Department, www.wgfd.wyo.gov/

Know what to do if your pet is caught in a trap. Trappers are not responsible for injuries to your pet.
