Be Vigilant Near Crater Lake on Teton Pass, Beaver Still Territorial

ATTENTION DOG OWNERS IN JACKSON!  Our beaver friend at Crater Lake is busy gathering food and is still feeling territorial. This beaver is happy in his home and we need to give him the space he deserves. The beaver baffle is working well and keeping the culvert open and unobstructed. If you are headed to Crater Lake, be alert and keep your dog on a leash when close to the lake. The beaver likes to hang out in the logs close to the road, so you might not see him right away. If you listen to the end of the video, you can hear the beaver slap his tail on the water which is a warning sign to other beavers and predators to stay away.
