Dog, caught in snare, Black Mountain Road south of Thermopolis, WY
A dog was snared illegally near Black Mountain Rd, with two other illegal snares in the area without ID tags. Instead of being fined, the trapper was given three warnings. -

My dog let out a blood-curdling howl and we raced to find him in a snare. Wire cutters saved the day! This snare was close to the 30' legal setback, but many others weren't. -
