Los Alamos County Council Ordinance To Ban Trapping on County-Owned Lands
Thank you Los Alamos, New Mexico! Last night, the Los Alamos County Council voted on an ordinance banning trapping on county-owned lands. The vote to adopt the trapping ban as part of a broader animal statute passed 7-0.
This follows a Los Alamos County Council resolution supporting banning trapping on all public lands passed earlier this summer.
Minutes from the meeting are not yet available, but feel free to watch the video recording here: http://losalamos.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx
