An abandoned leghold trap was discovered in the Fall Creek area, in Coburn Meadows. The trap was rusted, and had a detached beaver foot in it. Clearly, the 72 hour check time was not followed, making the trap illegal. The trapper linked to the trap was implicated in another incident in which a dog was caught in a snare.
