Dog, “Mac”, killed in power snare – Pavillion/Lander, Wyoming

DOG TRAPPING INCIDENT ALERT!
Pavillion, WY
Tunnel Hill area, BLM public land

We received information about a beloved best friend, Mac, that was caught in a POWER neck snare (an extremely lethal device) set for bobcats. The treasured friend did not survive. Our hearts go out to Karen for the loss of her friend.

Location: BLM public land, Tunnel Hill area. Until we learn more about the location in detail, please be aware that these horrific snares and traps litter our landscapes. We are doing our best to change the trapping regulations, but Wyoming Game and Fish and the Commission have not been willing to work with the public on indiscriminate trapping issues. Meanwhile, trappers are not held accountable for the injuries or death to your pet.
