Win Lifetime Hunting Pass With DNR Coyote Harvest Program
In a real-life Hunger Games scenario, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) is tagging 16 coyotes, releasing them and then offering a reward for the return of their carcasses. This is blatant disregard for life and is absolutely appalling.
South Carolina Department of Natural Resources will be releasing 16 tagged coyotes and is offering a reward for killing and reporting one of the coyotes.
SCDNR says they will begin tagging and releasing four male coyotes in each of the four games zones immediately.
The coyotes will be ear-tagged and the tags will have contact information on them.
Anyone who kills one of the tagged coyotes and saves the carcass for verification will receive a complimentary lifetime hunting license which can be given to someone of their choice.
DNR is also starting a registration program to gauge interest in any added effort or take of coyotes by the incentive program.
If people register before December 1 and takes and reports one of the tagged coyotes by June 30, 2017, they will have their name entered into a drawing for a centerfire rifle/scope combo. Anyone who registers for the program after December 1 but before April 1, 2017 will have their name entered into a drawing for a Yeti Roadie Cooler if they take and report one of the tagged coyotes.
