Sydney, a three-year-old yellow lab, was caught in a leg-hold trap. She damaged several teeth chewing on the trap, which resulted in approximately $2,000 in vet bills to address teeth removal and jaw injuries. -

A dog accompanying its owner while she rode horseback was caught in a conibear trap next to the road. Neighbors had set the traps. The dog survived without permanent injury.
